We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who understands that social media is part culture, part community, part data.
Role Overview
As a Social Media Intern, you will support planning, execution, and optimisation of social media for multiple brands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching trends, building content ideas, engaging with communities, and analysing performance.
You’ll work closely with strategists, designers, and motion creators to bring ideas to life and keep brand pages active, relevant, and responsive.
What You’ll Do
Content & Ideation
• Research trends, formats, audios, memes, and creator styles
• Help build content idea buckets and monthly content calendars
• Assist in ideating reels, carousels, statics, and story formats
• Track competitor activity and platform trends
Publishing & Platform Management
• Schedule and upload content across platforms
• Write or assist with captions, hashtags, and basic CTAs
• Ensure brand tone and consistency across posts
Community & ORM
• Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and tagged content
• Assist with Online Reputation Management (ORM)
• Flag customer issues, feedback, or content opportunities
• Support timely and appropriate responses
Analytics & Insights
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, saves, shares)
• Assist in preparing basic reports and insights
• Observe patterns and suggest content improvements
• Practice social listening to understand audience sentiment
What We’re Looking For
• Strong interest in social media, internet culture, and content
• Good research and idea-generation skills
• Basic understanding of Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and platform behaviour
• Comfortable with scheduling tools and native apps
• Clear communication and writing skills
• Organised, curious, and detail-oriented
• Willingness to learn and iterate quickly

• Have managed a brand or personal page
• Understand how different platforms behave differently
• Can spot trends before they peak
• Enjoy analysing why content works (or doesn’t)
• Have basic knowledge of analytics or reporting tools
