Role Description We are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Manager to grow our online presence, amplify our mission, and engage our community of donors, volunteers, and advocates across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Strategy
• Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and goals
• Create, schedule, and publish compelling content (text, graphics, video) across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Community Engagement
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, mission-aligned manner
• Build relationships with followers, partner organizations, and community advocates
• Identify and engage with influencers, donors, and volunteers online
Qualifications
• Prior experience of social media management (non-profit experience a plus)
• Proficiency in major social platforms and scheduling tools
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
• Understanding of social media analytics and reporting
• Video editing skills
