Role Description
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager (Remote), who can help us grow UmberApp’s online presence through consistent content planning, social content creation, and audience-focused execution.
What you’ll work on (examples):
- Identify relevant social media topics for our audience (Canada immigration niche)
- Build and manage weekly/monthly content plans across social channels
- Create social media posts using tools like Canva (single posts, carousels, Reel/YouTube Shorts)
- Write captions, hooks, and hashtags tailored to the platform and audience
- Repurpose blog/news content into social content (carousels, short posts, Reel/YouTube Shorts script ideas)
- Coordinate with the team for approvals, revisions, and posting priorities
Qualifications
- Experience in social media management, content marketing, or a similar role
- Proven experience planning and executing social content for a brand/business
- Good research skills and ability to identify relevant/trending content ideas
- Reliable communication and ability to work independently
