Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting Specular Business Services’ digital presence across major social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include planning and scheduling posts, writing and editing social media copy, engaging with audiences through comments and messages, and monitoring platform performance and trends. The intern will assist in developing and executing social media campaigns, optimizing content for reach and engagement, and coordinating with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging. Additional responsibilities may include basic analytics reporting, competitor research, and contributing ideas to improve social media strategies and content formats.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with an understanding of major platforms and their best practices.
- Ability to contribute to Content Strategy and plan social media calendars aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
- Effective Communication and Writing skills, including clear, concise, and audience-focused social media copywriting.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts, analytics tools, and performance metrics related to social media.
- Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar) and basic graphic or video editing skills is an advantage.
