The Opportunity


We're seeking a Social Media Manager who genuinely understands digital culture and the Instagram ecosystem. Someone who doesn't just consume content, but understands what makes it resonate, why it performs, and how to replicate that success.


You'll be our founding social media hire, working directly with the founders to own our entire social media strategy — from conception to execution to analysis. This is a high-ownership role where your work will directly impact brand growth and customer acquisition.


Key Responsibilities


  • Strategy & Planning:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives


  • Define target audience personas and create content strategies for each segment.


  • Content Creation & Design:

Create engaging, on-brand content across formats — Reels, Stories, static posts, and carousels


  • Design all visual assets using tools like Canva, Figma, Photoshop, or Illustrator


  • Produce and edit short-form video content including product showcases, behind-the-scenes, and founder stories


  • Campaign Execution:

Plan and execute integrated campaigns for product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand

initiatives

Manage content calendars ensuring consistent, high-quality output

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with founders and potential future team members


  • Analytics & Reporting:

Monitor and analyze performance across Instagram and other relevant platforms

Generate weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations

Conduct A/B testing on content formats, copy, and posting strategies to maximize engagement

Use data to inform content decisions and refine overall strategy


Required Qualifications:


Recent graduate with 0-1 years of relevant experience

Deep understanding of Instagram's ecosystem — algorithm, content trends, and best practices

Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator)

Comfortable creating video content and appearing on camera when needed

Self-driven and proactive — able to work independently with minimal supervision

Genuine interest in health, wellness, and conscious living



Preferred Qualifications:


Portfolio demonstrating social media management or content creation (personal projects, internships, or freelance work accepted)

Proven track record of growing social media accounts with measurable results

Understanding of Instagram, hashtag strategy, and content optimization

Familiarity with Meta Business Suite and social media analytics platforms

Knowledge of current Gen Z digital behaviors and content consumption patterns
