Role Description The Social Media Manager role at Scidecs is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves developing and executing social media strategies that support brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation across platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning content calendars, creating and editing posts, optimizing content for each platform, monitoring performance metrics, and responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align social media campaigns with broader business goals and to highlight key initiatives, product releases, and thought leadership. The role also includes staying updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and platform best practices to continuously refine Scidecs’ social media presence.
Qualifications
- Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing brand accounts and campaigns.
- Proficiency in Content Strategy and Writing to plan, create, and adapt content for various social media platforms.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear, inclusive written and verbal communication suitable for diverse audiences.
- Experience with social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to improve performance and engagement.
- Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Figma, or similar) to collaborate on or create visual content is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Prior experience in a technology or software-focused organization is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
