AI Social Media Manager & Canva Designer

About the RoleWe’re looking for someone who lives and breathes AI, loves discovering viral content before everyone else, and is exceptionally proficient in Canva.
This role is primarily a research and content adaptation role, not a graphic design role.
We’ve already built a complete library of professionally designed Canva templates for almost every type of post we publish. That means you won’t be spending your day creating designs from scratch or figuring out layouts. Your primary responsibility is to find great content, adapt it into our existing templates, and publish consistently.
Think of it as managing a well-oiled content system rather than building one from the ground up.
You’ll independently manage 3 Instagram pages.
What You’ll Do
Every day, you’ll:
- Research the latest AI news, tools, launches, prompts, case studies and trends.
- Monitor competitor and similar Instagram pages.
- Identify high-performing content worth recreating.
- Separate genuinely valuable AI updates from hype.
- Send shortlisted content for approval.
- Once approved, simply adapt the content into our pre-designed Canva templates.
- Publish 5 posts per page across our 3 pages (15 posts daily).
- Ensure all posts are published before 8:00 PM.
Because our templates are already built, the majority of your creative work involves replacing text, images, icons and assets while maintaining consistency.
Canva Skills (10/10 Mandatory)
Although you’ll be working almost entirely with our existing Canva templates, advanced Canva knowledge is compulsory.
Our design system is already built, so you won’t be expected to create new layouts every day.
However, there will occasionally be situations where:
- a template needs improving,
- a new post format needs to be introduced,
- a design needs to be recreated quickly,
- or an existing template needs customization.
When those situations arise, we expect you to be completely comfortable inside Canva.
You should be proficient with:
- Typography
- Layouts
- Spacing
- Visual hierarchy
- Brand Kits
- Layers
- Frames
- Mockups
- Effects
- Animations
- Magic Resize
- AI features
- Shortcuts and productivity workflows
- Advanced Canva features
In short, your day-to-day work will mostly involve adapting content inside existing templates, but your Canva skills should be strong enough to handle anything beyond the templates whenever required.
AI Knowledge (Mandatory)
This role is for someone who genuinely follows AI.
You should already know what’s happening across:
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini
- OpenAI
- Anthropic
- Perplexity
- Midjourney
- Cursor
- Grok
- ElevenLabs
- Runway
- Veo
- and the broader AI ecosystem.
More importantly, you should be able to tell the difference between content that is genuinely useful and content that is simply generating hype.
Daily Workflow
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Research AI content.
- Source the best ideas.
- Submit them for approval.
After Approval
- Adapt the approved content into our existing Canva templates.
- Export and publish the posts.
Before 8:00 PM
- Ensure all posts are live.
Requirements
- Excellent AI research skills.
- Advanced Canva proficiency (10/10 is mandatory).
- Strong written English.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good understanding of Instagram content.

This is a full-time in-office role based in Chennai.

Compensation
â‚ą24,000 per month
