Social Media Manager

About the Role -
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who genuinely understands Instagram and is always curious about what’s trending, what’s working, and what makes people stop scrolling.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll not only manage social media but also contribute to content ideas, reels, shoots, editing, captions, memes, carousels, and day-to-day content execution.
Core Responsibilities :
- Manage and execute content for social media platforms, primarily Instagram.
- Stay updated with trending reels, memes, formats, hooks, sounds, and content trends.
- Ideate engaging content concepts, reels, carousels, memes, and static posts.
- Write or suggest catchy captions, hooks, and content angles.
- Capture aesthetic photos and videos using a smartphone for social media content.
- Have a basic understanding of reel editing and editing apps such as Canva, CapCut, VN, InShot, etc.
- Understand basic principles of visual aesthetics, framing, composition, and transitions.
- Assist professional videographers during shoots by understanding and suggesting different shots, angles, and frames.
- Occasionally shoot behind-the-scenes and social-first content independently on a phone.
- Keep the brand’s social media presence consistent, relevant, and engaging.
What We’re Looking For :
- 0–1 year of experience in social media/content creation; freshers are welcome.
- Strong understanding of Instagram and current social media trends.
- Curious, proactive, and willing to experiment with new content formats.
- Someone who doesn’t just consume content but understands why a piece of content works.
Good to Have :
- A personal Instagram page or portfolio showcasing your content.
- Experience creating reels, memes, carousels, or short-form content.
- Awareness of Instagram analytics and basic content performance metrics.
