Content & Communications Manager

Abby Lighting is one of India's foremost architectural lighting brands. Our work sits at the intersection of precision engineering and considered design — specified by architects, interior designers, and built-environment professionals who demand both performance and aesthetic intelligence.
We are looking for a Content & Communications Manager to own how the brand speaks. Based out of Mumbai.
The Role
You will be responsible for every word a customer, specifier, or trade professional encounters — across social, digital, campaigns, collateral, and exhibitions. From brief to final output. The thinking does not get outsourced.
This is not a role for someone who manages agencies and calls it done. It is a role for someone who writes well, thinks in brand, and follows through.
What You Will Do
Brand & Creative Communication
Develop creative briefs for offline and online campaigns — print, digital, social, events, exhibitions, and brand films. Conceptualise communication themes aligned with Abby Lighting's positioning and business objectives. Maintain brand tone, visual language, and messaging consistency across every channel.
Agency & Partner Management
Coordinate with creative, digital, event, and performance agencies. Review concepts, copy, and creatives. Ensure timely execution. You are the single point of accountability for all communication output.
Copywriting & Content
Write brand copy for campaigns, ads, brochures, and exhibitions. Develop website copy — homepages, product pages, landing pages, brand stories. Script brand films, product explainers, social reels, and corporate content. Support performance ad copy across Google, Meta, and LinkedIn as needed.
Social Media
Plan and execute social communication across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and related platforms. Work with agencies on content calendars, captions, creatives, and reels. Every post should reflect Abby Lighting's premium, architectural positioning — and only go out if it does.
Online Reputation Management
Build and maintain a strong brand presence through proactive storytelling. Manage reactive ORM — reviews, comments, mentions — with the brand voice intact. Coordinate internally to resolve escalations when needed.
What We Are Looking For
Strong conceptual thinking. Excellent copywriting. The ability to manage multiple agencies and stakeholders without losing the thread. High attention to detail. A working instinct for what sounds like the brand — and what doesn't.
Understanding of performance marketing communication is a plus. Experience in architecture, interiors, lighting, luxury, or design-led categories is preferred.
3+ years in brand communication, social content, or creative roles.
