About the CompanyKidology is a fast-growing D2C kids’ brand focused on creating innovative, engaging, and educational products for children. We are building a strong digital-first brand and are looking for a Social Media Manager who can drive storytelling, engagement, and growth across platforms.
Role OverviewThe Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support revenue goals. This role requires a mix of creativity, analytical thinking, and hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in managing social media for D2C brands, a strong understanding of content trends, and the ability to build a relatable and consistent brand voice.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategy & Planning- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business and marketing objectives
- Create monthly and weekly content calendars across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
- Identify target audience segments and tailor content accordingly
- Plan and execute campaigns, launches, and seasonal content
2. Content Creation & Management- Conceptualize and create engaging content including posts, reels, stories, and captions
- Collaborate with graphic designers and video editors for content production
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, voice, and visual identity
- Write high-quality, engaging, and conversion-driven copy
3. Platform Management- Manage day-to-day operations of all social media platforms
- Schedule and publish content as per calendar
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring timely responses
- Build and nurture an active online community
4. Performance Marketing Support- Assist in running and optimizing paid social campaigns (Meta Ads)
- Coordinate with performance marketing team for ad creatives and copies
- Track campaign performance and suggest improvements
5. Analytics & Reporting- Monitor key performance metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions, conversions)
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports
- Analyze trends and optimize content strategy accordingly
- Use insights to improve ROI and audience growth
6. Trend Analysis & Innovation- Stay updated with latest social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes
- Identify viral trends and adapt them to brand relevance
- Continuously experiment with new content formats and ideas
7. Influencer & Collaboration Management- Identify and collaborate with influencers and content creators
- Manage influencer campaigns from outreach to execution
- Track influencer performance and ROI
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams
- Align social media campaigns with product launches and business goals
- Coordinate with external agencies if required
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in social media management
- Prior experience with D2C or consumer brands is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube platforms
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
