📌 Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: Mumbai Experience: 3-5 years Reporting to: AVP- Brand
About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to lead and scale IGP’s social presence across India and Dubai markets. This role owns strategy, execution, and performance across platforms, while managing and mentoring a team of social media executives.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that IGP shows up consistently, creatively, and culturally relevant across regions, while driving engagement, growth, and brand love.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy& Planning
- Own the social media strategy for IGP India and IGP Dubai across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Build monthly and quarterly content calendars aligned to business priorities, launches, and cultural moments.
- Define platform-wise content pillars, formats, and tone of voice for each market.
- Ensure regional relevance while maintaining a strong, consistent brand identity.
- Content & Execution Oversight
- Oversee daily content output-reels, static posts, carousels, stories, captions, and community posts.
- Guide the team on hooks, storytelling, trends, and formats that perform well organically.
- Review and approve captions, creatives, and scripts before publishing.
Work closely with design, video, influencer, and performance teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Team Management
- Manage and mentor a team of Social Media Executives across India and Dubai.
- Assign briefs, review work, set clear expectations, and provide regular feedback.
- Build efficient workflows for ideation, approvals, posting, and reporting.
- Help upskill the team on trends, content formats, and platform best practices.
- Community &Brand Voice
- Ensure timely responses to comments, DMs, and community interactions.
- Shape how IGP engages with its audience-warm, thoughtful, and on-brand. Handle escalations or sensitive interactions in coordination with customer support.
- Performance Tracking &Optimization
- Track performance metrics like reach, engagement, saves, shares, follower growth, and content-level insights.
- Analyze what’s working (and what’s not) across markets and formats.
- Share regular performance reports with insights and recommendations.
- Use data + cultural intuition to continuously refine strategy.
🎯 Who We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in consumer brands, e-commerce, or lifestyle categories.
- Prior experience managing a team is mandatory.
Strong understanding of Instagram-first content, especially reels and short-form video.
- Ability to balance creative instincts with performance thinking.
- Experience handling multiple markets or audiences is a strong plus.
