Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Social Media Manager role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for part-time work from home. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and manage content across key social media platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and community growth. Responsibilities include developing and executing social media strategies and calendars, managing daily posting, monitoring comments and messages, and engaging with online communities in a timely and professional manner. The role involves optimizing content for each platform, analyzing performance metrics, and preparing regular reports with recommendations for improvement. The Social Media Manager will collaborate with internal teams (design, content, PR, influencer marketing, and video production) to ensure consistent brand messaging and support campaign launches and promotions.
Qualifications
- Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with hands-on experience managing brand accounts on major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube).
- Proficiency in Content Strategy and Writing, including developing content calendars, crafting platform-specific copy, and aligning social content with broader marketing goals.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to engage diverse online audiences in a professional and inclusive manner.
- Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, native platform insights, or third-party tools) and the ability to interpret data to optimize campaigns.
- Experience coordinating with creative teams for design, video, and influencer collaborations is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a digital agency or in managing multiple brand handles is an advantage.
