ABOUT DECHEF
Dechef is a subscription-based creative agency managing social media for brands across India and globally. Our social media offering spans organic content management, paid social campaigns, and brand identity-driven content strategy. We manage Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook for clients in diverse industries — from D2C and hospitality to real estate and professional services.
THE ROLE
You will be the dedicated social media manager for a specific set of client accounts. You are responsible for the strategy, content calendar, briefing the design team, managing posting, engaging with audiences, and reporting to clients. This is a full-service role — not a scheduling-only position.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Develop and execute monthly content strategy and calendar for each assigned client account
• Brief the graphic design and motion team on required content — clear, specific, actionable briefs
• Manage posting across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook on schedule
• Manage DM responses and comment engagement for active accounts
• Produce monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
• Attend or conduct client check-ins on account health and next-month planning
• Stay current with platform algorithm changes, content trends, and best practices
WHAT WE NEED
• 2-3 years of social media management experience across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook
• Demonstrable results: specific growth metrics from accounts you have managed
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously in an agency context
• Strong brief-writing skills for collaborating with designers and video teams
• Clear written communication skills — captions, reports, and client updates
• Analytical mindset — comfortable with platform insights, spreadsheets, and performance data
• Experience with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent)
WHAT DISQUALIFIES YOU
• Experience limited to managing one brand's internal accounts — no multi-client agency context
• Social media management = posting and responding — no strategic layer
• No Meta Ads Manager experience beyond boosting posts
• Cannot produce structured, data-referenced client reports
