About the Role
We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. With 2–3 years of hands-on experience, you are past the intern/associate stage but still hungry to grow. You know how to build engaged communities, analyze performance metrics, and adapt content for different platforms—without needing daily hand-holding.
You will own our brand’s voice across social channels, execute campaigns, and work closely with design and content teams to drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Execution (60%)
- Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube Shorts – as relevant).
- Manage the monthly social content calendar aligned with product launches, brand campaigns, and cultural moments.
- Adapt copy, visuals, and formats to fit each platform’s best practices and audience behavior.
- Collaborate with the design team to produce static, video, and story-based assets.
Community Management (20%)
- Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions; respond in a timely, on-brand manner.
- Proactively engage with relevant accounts, partners, and industry conversations.
- Identify and nurture brand advocates and micro-influencers.
Analytics & Reporting (15%)
- Track KPIs: reach, engagement rate, click-through rate, follower growth, and conversions.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and actionable recommendations.
- Use data to A/B test content types, posting times, and captions.
Trend & Competitive Research (5%)
- Stay ahead of social media trends, new features, and algorithm updates.
- Conduct monthly competitor analysis and share findings with the broader marketing team.
Requirements (Non-negotiable)
- 2–3 years of professional experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or publication (internships count only if full-time for 6+ months).
- Proven ability to grow and engage an audience organically (examples required).
- Strong copywriting skills – you can write punchy captions, thoughtful threads, and quick community replies.
- Working knowledge of analytics tools (native platform insights, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics basics).
- Hands-on experience with scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout, or HubSpot).
- Basic understanding of paid social (boosting posts, running small ad tests).
- Familiarity with Canva, Premiere Rush, or CapCut for light asset creation/editing.
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- Experience with user-generated content (UGC) campaigns or influencer seeding.
- Exposure to social listening tools (Brand24, Brandwatch, Sprinklr).
- Basic knowledge of SEO and how social impacts discoverability.
