Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Gurugram. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing social media marketing strategies. Daily tasks include creating engaging content, developing content strategies, optimizing social media platforms (SMO), analyzing performance metrics, and driving user engagement across various social media channels. The role demands collaboration with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to develop and execute marketing campaigns
- Experience in Content Strategy and Writing to create engaging and high-quality content
- Strong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and interact with the online audience
- Data analysis capabilities to monitor and optimize social media performance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Familiarity with tools such as social media scheduling platforms and analytics software
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Good knowledge of Design tools such as CANVA, Adobe Suite, etc.
- Knowledge of Social media performance and monitoring tools such as Hootsuite, Metricool, Buffer, etc.
- A keen eye for analytics and data to present the data and numbers impressively
Social Media strategy and Planning
- Experience in working in BFSI or Banking sector as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Develop and execute platform specific strategies for Linkedin, X( Twitter), Instagram, Youtube and emerging channels
- Design and align social content with brand positing, campaigns and marketing objectives
- Identify trends, hashtags, and topics for timely and relevant content
Content creation and curation
- Create, schedule, and publish high-quality, engaging content (graphics, copy, video, reels, infographics).
- Curate third-party and industry content to enhance thought leadership.
- Work with internal SMEs, PR, and marketing teams to convert insights and campaigns into social-ready content.
- Ability to create posts, reels, carousels, videos, for social media publishing driving organic traffic
Community management and engagement
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across platforms, ensuring timely responses.
- Build and nurture online communities, encouraging engagement and conversation around brand campaigns.
- Flag opportunities for influencer or partner collaborations.
Analytics and reporting
- Track KPIs including engagement rate, follower growth, share of voice, sentiment, and traffic from social campaigns.
- Generate actionable insights to improve content strategy, posting cadence, and campaign performance.
- Benchmark competitor social activity and identify emerging trends.
Campaign amplification and collaboration
- Partner with PR, Marketing, and Business teams to amplify campaigns and events online.
- Coordinate with design, video, and content teams to ensure creative assets meet platform specifications.
- Support product launches thought leadership initiatives, and employee engagement campaigns through social channels.
Ideal candidate profile
- 5+ Years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content strategy, preferably in BFSI, financial services, or professional services sectors.
- Strong understanding of platform-specific content formats and best practices.
- Proven track record of growing social communities and driving engagement.
- Experience in analytics-driven social strategy and reporting.
- Well versed with strategies for Organic Lead Generation
- Familiarity with content management systems, design tools, and social scheduling platforms.
