We are a B2B media and marketing services company connecting senior supply chain, logistics, procurement, finance and operations leaders with the insights and partners they need.

Our parent brand sits above three specialist publications and reaches a global audience of senior decision makers through articles, newsletters and campaigns.

Founder led LinkedIn is currently a major growth channel for us. Using the founder profile, we are seeing strong traction for lead generation, audience growth and brand positioning. We now want to systemise and scale this.


The role

We are hiring a part time Social Media Manager who can both think and do.

Approximate time split

  • ~9 hours per week on the founder LinkedIn profile
  • 1-2 hours per week advising on our brand and publication profiles

The initial contract is for 3 months with a clear opportunity to extend if we are both seeing strong results.

You will work directly with the founder. This is ideal for an experienced social media professional or consultant who wants a retained client where they can have real strategic impact as well as own day to day execution.

Your north star is a measurable increase in visibility and engagement with the right senior B2B audience, not generic virality.


Key responsibilities

Founder LinkedIn profile

  • Own the content calendar for the founder profile
  • Turn concepts, notes and rough ideas into clear posts tailored to senior B2B audiences
  • Repurpose existing content such as articles, newsletters and interviews into LinkedIn posts and simple carousel or document posts
  • Help shape the founder narrative and positioning including key themes and content pillars
  • Actively manage engagement including comments and replies that reflect the founder tone and boundaries
  • Test and refine formats, hooks and posting rhythm to increase relevant reach, impressions and engagement
  • Track performance and provide simple, actionable reporting each month focused on visibility among our target accounts and personas

Brand and publication profiles advisory

Our brand and publication pages are live and actively managed by an experienced internal team. Your role is to supercharge what is already working through targeted advice.

  • Review our current company and publication pages and content cadence to identify quick wins and bigger opportunities
  • Recommend refinements to positioning and themes for each profile so they support our commercial objectives
  • Advise on how to use founder content to lift brand and publication profiles through cross posting, sequencing and campaign tie ins
  • Suggest higher impact formats, content series and experiments that the internal team can execute
  • Provide light ongoing guidance on what to dial up, dial down or stop based on performance and best practice


What success looks like in 3 months
  • A clear, consistent content cadence from the founder profile
  • A measurable increase in visibility among our target audience for example impressions, profile views and post saves
  • Measurable growth in relevant followers and meaningful engagement from senior decision makers
  • LinkedIn activity that clearly supports lead generation for the parent brand and its publications
  • A simple repeatable playbook for ongoing content and engagement
  • Basic but reliable reporting so we know what is working and where to double down
  • Clear recommendations for how we should structure this role longer term


About you

You are likely to be:

  • An experienced B2B social media professional with a strong focus on LinkedIn
  • A minimum of 4 years marketing or social media experience
  • Comfortable working with founders and senior leaders and turning their expertise into compelling content
  • Both strategic and hands on, able to design the approach and then write, schedule and iterate yourself
  • Strong at copywriting for senior business audiences
  • Data aware, you know which metrics matter for visibility, relevance and conversion to interest
  • Confident operating with limited but high quality time from the founder and making decisions independently
  • Organised, reliable and comfortable in a lean, entrepreneurial environment

Essential experience

  • Proven track record growing LinkedIn presence for B2B founders, executives or brands
  • Experience with complex B2B products or services, ideally in professional services, SaaS or media
  • Excellent written English and attention to detail
  • Ability to work within UK or Europe time zones
  • Sector experience in supply chain, logistics or procurement is a plus but not essential.
  • Curiosity and the ability to learn the domain quickly are more important.
