Job Description: Social Media Manager – FinTech & Financial Services
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience managing organic social media for brands, preferably in a digital or creative agency environment.
- Prior experience working with fintech, wealth management, financial services, or investment brands.
- Strong understanding of finance, fintech, investment, or wealth management audiences.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager (Organic) to lead our organic social media and podcast initiatives across digital platforms. This role is focused entirely on brand building, storytelling, audience engagement, and organic growth — not paid media or performance marketing.
The ideal candidate should bring strong experience from a digital or creative agency environment, along with a deep understanding of finance, fintech, investment, and wealth management audiences. You will be responsible for shaping the brand’s digital voice, driving meaningful engagement, managing podcast initiatives, and building a high-impact content ecosystem across platforms.
This role requires a strong mix of creativity, strategic thinking, leadership, and execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with brand, content, and business objectives.
- Build and strengthen the brand voice through storytelling, thought leadership, and topical engagement.
- Create platform-specific growth strategies for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
- Identify opportunities to improve audience engagement, reach, and brand visibility organically.
Content & Campaign Management
- Lead end-to-end content planning, creation, publishing, and optimisation across platforms.
- Oversee production of reels, short-form videos, long-form content, carousels, podcasts, and thought-leadership content.
- Drive organic social campaigns from ideation to execution and reporting.
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, visual identity, and storytelling across all communication channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create relevant and high-performing content.
Podcast Management
- Own and manage the brand’s flagship podcast initiatives.
- Coordinate guest outreach, content planning, scripting, production timelines, and publishing schedules.
- Work closely with creative and production teams to ensure high-quality podcast execution.
- Drive podcast visibility and growth through strategic amplification across social and digital channels.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the in-house organic social media team.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and timely delivery.
- Set clear goals, review performance, and guide team development.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with creative, production, and post-production agencies from briefing to final delivery.
- Ensure all outputs align with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and quality standards.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including brand, content, design, and leadership teams.
Community Engagement
- Build and nurture an active and engaged online community.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and conversations across social platforms.
- Encourage authentic audience interactions that strengthen brand trust and advocacy.
Performance Analytics & Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics using native and third-party analytics tools.
- Generate actionable insights to optimise content strategy and improve organic growth.
- Track KPIs including engagement, reach, audience growth, watch time, and community performance.
Trends & Innovation
- Stay updated with platform trends, algorithm updates, emerging formats, and best practices.
- Experiment with innovative storytelling formats and engagement strategies to drive organic reach.
Influencer & Collaboration Initiatives
- Manage collaborations with finance influencers, creators, and thought leaders.
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities to enhance brand credibility and reach within the fintech ecosystem.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing organic social media for brands, preferably in a digital or creative agency environment.
- Strong understanding of finance, fintech, investment, or wealth management audiences.
- Proven experience building brand presence through storytelling and community engagement.
- Strong expertise across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
- Experience managing content ecosystems including short-form and long-form content.
- Hands-on experience managing agencies, creators, and external production partners.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling abilities.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using social media analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with fintech, wealth management, financial services, or investment brands.
- Experience managing podcasts or long-form branded content series.
- Familiarity with creator partnerships and influencer marketing within the finance ecosystem.
- Agency-side experience managing multiple brands or campaigns simultaneously.
