Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Lead located in Gurgaon. The Social Media Lead will be responsible for strategizing, managing, and growing social media presence across multiple platforms. This role involves overseeing daily content posting, analyzing performance data, and developing creative strategies to increase engagement, reach, and community growth. The ideal candidate is both data-driven and creatively inclined, with a strong understanding of digital trends and audience behavior.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Plan, schedule, and manage daily social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.).
- Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and cultural moments.
- Ensure all content reflects the brand’s voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
Growth & Engagement
- Develop strategies to increase followers, engagement, and reach across all platforms.
- Drive community engagement by responding to comments, DMs, and fostering meaningful interactions with followers.
- Identify opportunities for collaborations, influencer partnerships, and co-branded campaigns to expand audience base.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics (reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth).
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize content strategy.
- Stay updated on algorithm changes and platform updates to adapt posting strategies.
Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with copywriters, designers, and video teams to create visually appealing and engaging content.
- Contribute fresh ideas for social-first campaigns, reels, and viral trends.
- Experiment with new formats, features, and creative approaches to keep content relevant and innovative.
Research & Trendspotting
- Stay on top of emerging trends, pop culture moments, and platform innovations.
- Identify relevant hashtags, challenges, and conversation opportunities for brand participation.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to ensure client’s social presence stays competitive and unique.
Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years of experience managing social media accounts for brands, agencies, or media organizations. Exceptional candidates with strong case studies of organic growth are encouraged to apply.

- Proven track record of growing social media accounts and delivering measurable results.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio, Google Analytics).
- Strong content sense — able to identify what will resonate with audiences.
