ROLE SNAPSHOT
As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for enhancing SSEI’s online presence across various social media platforms. Your daily tasks will include creating engaging content, planning and implementing social media marketing strategies, and collaborating with different teams to align content with the brand’s vision and target audience.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
1) Camera-ready content creator: Comfortable on camera and confident speaking to prepared scripts, able to shoot videos independently and represent the SSEI brand with energy and clarity.
2) Reels & short-form video enthusiast: Passionate about video content with a keen eye for what works on various platforms, skilled in basic Instagram editing tools and able to ideate, plan, and execute reel concepts from scratch.
3) Creative strategist with initiative: Proactively suggests fresh content formats, thinks beyond templates, and can take an idea from concept to published post, including scripting, shooting, and editing.
4) Social media savvy: Strong understanding of Instagram trends, audio choices, hashtags, and the algorithm, with the ability to stay updated on what's trending and adapt content quickly to ride viral moments.
5) Collaborative team player: Works well with academic and marketing teams to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with SSEI's tone, educational yet engaging.
6) Basic visual sense: Has an eye for aesthetics like clean framing, good lighting, and readable text overlays, so that content looks polished even when produced with minimal equipment.
7) Finance background is a big plus: A personal interest in finance or a degree in a related field is highly valued, as it helps create content that is accurate, credible, and resonates with our audience.
INTERNSHIP DETAILS
- Location: Kolkata (On-site)
- Work Days: Monday to Friday
- Timing: 4 hours per day (time slots open to discussion)
- Stipend: As per industry standards
