Job Title: Social Media Intern

Work Schedule: 6 days work week with 1 weekly off.

The Community League (TCL) is a fast-growing grassroots sports platform in Bangalore, organizing professionally managed leagues and competitions across football, racquet sports, and other sports. We work closely with players, academies, venues, and sponsors to build a strong community through high-quality sporting experiences and engaging content.
Role Overview
As a Social Media Intern at TCL, you will be part of the media and marketing team, supporting content creation, publishing, and community engagement across TCL’s digital platforms. This role offers hands-on exposure to live sports content, event-based storytelling, and brand-led social media execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Publishing
- Assist in creating and posting content such as matchday updates, fixtures, results, announcements, and stories.
- Support basic graphic and reel creation using tools like Canva or similar platforms.
- Ensure timely publishing during matchdays and events.
- Matchday & Event Coverage
- Assist with on-ground content capture including photos, short videos, and stories.
- Coordinate with photographers and videographers for content flow during events.
- Help maintain content schedules during leagues and tournaments.
- Community Engagement
- Monitor comments, messages, and interactions across social platforms.
- Engage with teams, players, academies, and fans through replies and reposts.
- Support community-building initiatives and campaigns.
- Sponsorship & Brand Integration
- Assist in publishing sponsor-integrated content as per deliverables.
- Ensure brand visibility across posts, stories, and highlights.
- Support post-event content and sponsor reports.
- Content Planning & Reporting
- Help maintain a content calendar for leagues and announcements.
- Track basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and growth.
- Assist in preparing post-event content summaries.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interest in social media, digital content, and sports.
- Familiarity with Instagram and other social platforms.
- Basic skills in Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Good written communication and understanding of social media trends.
- Willingness to work on weekends and matchdays when required. Preferred
- Prior experience managing social media pages or personal content accounts.
- Interest or background in football or grassroots sports.
- Basic photography and video editing skills.
