We’re looking for a Social Media & Podcast Distribution Intern who lives on the internet and understands the Indian podcast industry.
This is not a typical “post and schedule” internship. We need someone who is highly active on Instagram and YouTube, understands trends and distribution, and can help every podcast episode reach its maximum potential.
What You’ll Do
- Manage daily distribution of podcast content across Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
- Upload Reels/Shorts daily and consistently.
- Understand Instagram distribution — hooks, retention, timing, trends, captions and formats.
- Keep track of the Indian podcast industry — creators, hosts, guests, shows, trends and viral moments.
- Research what is working for top Indian podcasts and creators.
- Identify distribution opportunities for every episode.
- Track Reel/Short performance and understand why content works.
- Stay updated with trending topics, memes, formats and viral content.
- Find relevant pages, communities and creators for content distribution.
- Coordinate with the editing/content team to ensure content is published on time.
- Track podcasts, creators, guests and industry trends.
- Think beyond posting: “How do we get this clip in front of 1M+ people?”
What We’re Looking For
- Extremely active on Instagram & YouTube.
- Strong understanding of the Indian creator and podcast ecosystem.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels distribution.
- Naturally curious about what is going viral and why.
- Excellent research and internet skills.
- Highly consistent, responsive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
Huge Plus If You
- Have worked with a podcast, creator or media company.
- Have managed or grown an Instagram/YouTube page.
- Understand how to take a Reel from 100 views → 10K → 100K+.
- Know the Indian podcast ecosystem beyond mainstream names.
- Have experience in content distribution or social media growth.
- Can identify a potentially viral clip just by watching it.
The Ideal Candidate
You should be someone who knows what’s happening on Indian Instagram right now — which podcast is trending, which guest is going viral, what formats are working, and where our next 1M views can come from.
If you can spend hours on Instagram, research relentlessly, post consistently and obsess over distribution — we want to talk to you.
