Role Description
This is a 1-month Social Media & Market Research Internship with IIMaspirant.
The selected intern will work closely with the core team in executing live content and audience engagement across official digital platforms. The role involves understanding aspirant behaviour, researching trends, and assisting in building and publishing content.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conduct structured market research on MBA/CAT aspirant audiences
• Study competitors and analyze engagement patterns
• Assist in planning and publishing posts on official handles
• Create short-form video content (reels/shorts) or informational videos
• Write captions and improve messaging communication
• Track basic performance metrics (reach, engagement, content performance)
Interns will receive guided contributor-level access (non-administrative) to selected official platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube under supervision.
This is a remote-friendly internship with periodic coordination with the core team.
Learning & Exposure
• Practical understanding of digital branding and positioning
• Hands-on exposure to building an education startup community
• Experience in audience psychology and content strategy
• Portfolio-ready work that can be showcased in placements and interviews
• Certificate of Completion upon successful participation
Qualifications
• Interest in marketing, consulting, business, or management careers
• Good written communication and content writing ability
• Basic understanding of social media platforms
• Willingness to learn, research and execute consistently
• Ability to meet timelines and follow structured guidance
• Familiarity with CAT/IPMAT or MBA preparation ecosystem is a plus (not mandatory)
Preferred: BBA, B.Com, BA, or MBA aspirants.
Additional Information
This is a guided learning internship designed for students who want practical exposure to real execution rather than only theoretical learning.
Selected participants will be enrolled into a structured mentorship-based training and execution program during the internship period.
