Social Media Intern — Instagram & Content
📍 Worli, Mumbai | Full-Time Internship (On-Site) | Stipend: ₹6,000–₹15,000/month | Joining: Immediate / ASAP
About BedR
BedR is a digital marketplace that simplifies the search for affordable housing across India — connecting students and working professionals to PG accommodations and hostels. We're building a brand that feels real, relatable, and scroll-stopping. If you live on Instagram and have opinions about why some reels blow up and others flop, we want to talk.
The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Intern who is genuinely obsessed with Instagram — someone who browses it for fun, saves references out of habit, and instinctively knows what's trending before it peaks. This is a hands-on role where you'll actually create content, not just schedule it. You'll work directly with the Head of Marketing and get real exposure to brand building from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and post daily Instagram content — Reels, Stories, and static posts
- Shoot content in-office using your phone (candid, aesthetic, on-brand)
- Edit short videos using CapCut, VN Editor, or Instagram native tools
- Design creatives using Canva for posts, carousels, and story templates
- Write captions that match the brand voice — fun, clean, and relatable
- Stay on top of trends, audios, meme formats, and viral content styles
- Assist in planning weekly content calendars
- Track basic metrics — reach, saves, shares, follower growth
What We're Looking For
- Someone who is genuinely passionate about Instagram and content creation
- Has personally shot and edited content before — reels, vlogs, anything creative
- Knows Canva well enough to design without hand-holding
- Comfortable with CapCut, VN Editor, or Instagram edits
- Has a good eye for aesthetics — lighting, framing, colour, vibe
- Energetic, expressive, and comfortable in front of (and behind) the camera
- Proactive, consistent, and a fast learner
- Students in their final year or recent graduates are welcome
Your Portfolio Should Show
- Reels or short videos you've personally shot and edited
- Any Canva designs, carousels, or brand creatives you've made
- An Instagram handle or content profile you're proud of
- Sharing your Instagram or a drive folder with past work is strongly encouraged.
