Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager

Role Overview
We are hiring a high-ownership Social Media & Influencer Marketing Manager who will own brand presence, content direction, and creator partnerships for GoGizmo and GoFix.
This role goes beyond posting and coordination. You will be responsible for what we say, how we look, and how we show up across social platforms — with a sharp focus on trust, relevance, and growth.
You will work hands-on with an in-house creative team and external influencer agencies, while pushing content, creators, and formats to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy, Content & Ownership
· Own the end-to-end content strategy and execution for all social platforms
· Define content pillars aligned to:
o Brand trust
o Product & service education
o Culture and trends
o Creator-led storytelling
· Drive content creation using the in-house team (designers, videographers, editors, creators)
· Ensure high creative standards, speed, and consistency
Influencer Marketing & Agency Management
· Identify, onboard, and manage creators directly and via influencer agencies
· Own agency briefs, negotiations, timelines, deliverables, and output quality
· Manage influencer budgets and ROI
· Build long-term creator partnerships, not one-off posts
· Ensure influencer content feels authentic, aesthetic, and brand-aligned
Brand Trust & Credibility Building
· Use social and influencer content to build:
o Transparency
o Reliability
o Social proof
· Showcase real stores, real teams, real repairs, real products
· Avoid shallow virality; prioritize believability and brand recall
Trend, Culture & Experimentation
· Stay ahead of trends, formats, and platform shifts
· Push boundaries while respecting brand guardrails
· Experiment with:
o New content formats
o New creator categories
o New storytelling approaches
· Be bold, but intentional
Cross-Team Collaboration
· Collaborate closely with:
o Creative & video teams
o Performance marketing
o ATL/BTL offline marketing
o Store & operations teams
· Align content with campaigns, launches, and on-ground activity
· Translate business goals into social-first storytelling
Performance, Insights & Accountability
· Track and analyze:
o Engagement
o Reach
o Follower growth
o Creator performance
o Sentiment and feedback
· Continuously refine strategy based on insights
· Take ownership of outcomes, not just output
Candidate Profile
Must-Have Experience
· 3–5 years of hands-on experience in social media and influencer marketing
· Prior experience in D2C, retail, fashion, or consumer brands
· Experience working with influencer agencies and managing creators at scale
· Proven ownership of content creation using in-house teams
Skills & Mindset
· Strong aesthetic sense and content judgment
· Ambitious, proactive, and comfortable pushing boundaries
· Gen Z or deeply Gen Z-aligned in thinking and execution
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Comfortable working from office and collaborating cross-functionally
