We are seeking a dynamic
Social Media Handler cum Academic Counsellor to manage social platforms and drive student enrollments. Join our energetic education marketing team to create engaging content, generate quality leads, and guide students toward successful academic and career decisions.
Role Summary
As a Social Media Handler cum Academic Counsellor, you'll manage Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp content creation while counseling students on course selection and admissions. This dual role combines creative social media marketing with persuasive academic counseling to convert leads into successful enrollments.
Social Media Management
- Manage Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and other platforms
- Create and post engaging content (Reels, Posts, Stories, Carousels)
- Design eye-catching graphics for course promotions using Canva
- Generate quality leads through targeted social media campaigns
- Schedule posts and analyze engagement metrics
Academic Counselling
- Counsel students on courses, career paths, and admission processes
- Handle inbound calls, WhatsApp chats, walk-in inquiries
- Explain course details, fees structure, scholarships, and benefits
- Build trust with students and parents through relationship building
- Convert leads into confirmed admissions
Lead & Data Management
- Maintain student inquiry database in Excel/Google Sheets
- Track daily leads, follow-ups, and conversion rates
- Generate weekly/monthly performance reports
- Coordinate with admission team for seamless onboarding
Educational Requirements
- Graduate degree (Any stream) - B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA
- Freshers welcome with good communication skills
- 1-2 years experience in education counseling/social media preferred
