Position Summary
The Social Media Executive will manage the firm’s digital presence across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube. The role requires a strong understanding of financial content creation, audience psychology, brand positioning in the wealth management space, and the ability to translate complex investment topics into simple, engaging formats. The candidate will work closely with the leadership, research, and advisory teams to drive awareness, trust, and inbound client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning- Develop monthly content calendars tailored to the needs of HNI, UHNI, and retail audiences.
- Align content with wealth management themes: mutual funds, PMS, AIF, bonds, financial planning, tax, insurance, and macro insights.
- Identify content gaps, trending topics, and engagement insights to improve reach and conversion.
2. Content Creation & Execution- Conceptualize and create posts: carousels, reels, short videos, infographics, testimonials, and educational explainers.
- Convert complex investment concepts into simple, visually engaging content.
- Script, edit, and coordinate production for short-form videos featuring company leadership.
- Ensure brand consistency in tone, design, and messaging.
3. Social Media Management- Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and monitoring across all social channels.
- Respond to comments, queries, and messages in a timely, compliant manner.
- Maintain platform hygiene and ensure all information is updated and accurate.
4. Performance Analytics- Track KPIs such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and lead generation.
- Provide weekly and monthly insights with data-driven recommendations.
- Benchmark performance against competitors (local and national wealth managers).
5. Compliance & Brand Governance- Ensure content follows SEBI/AMFI guidelines for investor communication.
- Work with compliance/operations teams to vet posts where required.
- Maintain accurate records of published content for audit purposes.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support- Work closely with the Research team for market updates and educational content.
- Coordinate with Advisors for client-oriented campaigns.
- Support the website team with updated content, blog posts, and digital assets.
- Assist in executing digital campaigns, webinars, and offline events as needed.
Required Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of finance, investing, and wealth management concepts.
- Excellent copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
- Ability to ideate and execute content independently.
- Hands-on experience with Canva, CapCut/Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Proficiency with scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite).
- Knowledge of Instagram and LinkedIn optimization tactics.
- Analytics skills (native insights, Google Analytics preferred).
- Creativity balanced with discipline, accuracy, and compliance mindset.
Educational & Experience Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management; finance/fintech domain preferred.
- Portfolio of past designs, reels, or posts is required.
- Understanding of investor education and Indian financial market regulations is an advantage.
