Mahara Schools is looking for a creative, energetic, and trend-savvy Social Media Executive who can create engaging content, manage social platforms, and build a strong online presence for our preschool & daycare brand.

Job Role
Position: Social Media Executive
Experience: Fresher / 1–2 Years Experience
Location: Hyderabad
Industry: Preschool & Daycare Education
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging social media posts, reels, stories, and creatives
- Design graphics for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Google, and ads
- Shoot and edit short-form videos & reels for social media
- Create parent-friendly and engaging content ideas
- Manage daily posting schedules and content calendars
- Write captions, hooks, hashtags, and social media copy
- Coordinate with school branches for activities, events, and celebrations
- Stay updated with trending audio, reel formats, and social trends
- Handle basic community management (comments, DMs, engagement)
- Assist in brand campaigns, admissions promotions, and event marketing
- Maintain consistency in Mahara Schools’ branding and visual identity
Required Skills
- Proficiency in graphic designing tools like Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
- Basic to advanced video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, VN, etc.)
- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts & WhatsApp marketing
- Creativity in storytelling and content presentation
- Strong communication and content-writing skills
- Fast learner with a proactive mindset
- Passion for social media trends and content creation
- Photography/videography skills are a plus
Preferred Candidate
- Fresher with strong creativity and portfolio OR
- Candidate with 1–2 years of experience in social media management/content creation
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and self-motivated
- Able to work in a fast-paced creative environment
- Interest in education, kids, parenting, or lifestyle content is a bonus
