Role Overview:
As a Social Media Executive, you’ll be part of our brand and marketing team and play a key role in growing our student community and webinar ecosystem. Your focus will be on creating engaging content for Instagram and YouTube, hosting and promoting webinars, running marketing campaigns, and using digital tools to drive registrations and engagement across platforms.
You will work closely with the marketing, ops, and academic teams to plan, promote, execute, and optimize webinars and workshops end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Platform Management
- Ideate and produce short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts, Stories) optimized for student engagement.
- Turn mentor clips, class highlights, and learner testimonials into high-performing social content.
- Write compelling hooks, captions, and calls-to-action to drive awareness and signups.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar aligned with upcoming webinars, workshops, and campaigns.
Webinar Hosting & Promotions
- Host and coordinate free webinars, workshops, and live sessions on platforms like Zoom/Google Meet/YouTube Live.
- Plan and execute webinar promotion strategies, including social posts, stories, reminders, and countdowns.
- Coordinate with trainers and the academic team to ensure smooth webinar execution.
- Manage registration tracking, reminders, and follow-ups to maximize attendance.
- Share highlights, recordings, and learner feedback post-events to create FOMO and drive future participation.
Campaign Management & Marketing Execution
- Run end-to-end social media and webinar campaigns to increase student registrations and engagement.
- Execute weekly and monthly promotional campaigns for workshops, bootcamps, and community events.
- Create campaign plans including creatives, messaging, timelines, and performance tracking.
Tools & Automation
- Use tools like Canva, CapCut, Google Sheets, Meta Business Suite, YouTube Studio, Zoom, and CRM/marketing tools for campaign execution.
- Manage Marketing Automations with email or WhatsApp reminders and promotional workflows for webinar registrations.
Community Engagement
- Respond to DMs, comments, and mentions actively to build a strong student community.
- Support live engagement during webinars (chat moderation, polls, Q&A, feedback collection).
- Run contests, Q&A sessions, polls, and interactive activities to boost engagement.
Who You Are
- 0-2 years of experience, passionate about Social Media, Marketing, Webinars, or EdTech.
- Comfortable hosting or coordinating online webinars and live sessions.
- Strong understanding of how youth engage with Reels, Shorts, and Stories.
- Basic video editing and design skills (Canva, VN, etc.).
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns.
- Creative, meme-literate, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus:
- Experience in hosting webinars, running campaigns, or managing campus/community events.
- Familiarity with marketing tools, CRM, or automation tools.
