ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re Seagull Advertising, a brand-first advertising and creative agency based in Pune. We’re looking for a sharp, culturally tuned Social Media Executive who lives and breathes content, understands brands deeply, and can shoot, edit, and publish — all while keeping one eye on what’s next in AI and platform trends. You’ll own social across a diverse portfolio of brands, working alongside a team that believes great ideas deserve great craft.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Plan, create, and execute social media content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms for multiple brand mandates.
- Concept, shoot, and edit short-form videos – Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Stories – with a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual style.
- Write platform-native copy: punchy captions, hooks, scripts, and CTAs tailored to each brand’s voice.
- Develop content calendars and manage scheduling, publishing, and online community engagement and management (ORM) across brand handles.
- Collaborate with art directors and designers to ensure visual consistency and campaign coherence.
- Use AI tools actively for ideation, scripting, visual briefing, and editing workflow – not just dabble with them.
- Monitor performance metrics, extract actionable insights, and iterate content strategies based on data.
- Stay ahead of social trends, audio trends, platform algorithm changes, and cultural moments – and move fast.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–3 years of social media experience, mandatory at an advertising or branding agency working on brands.
- A strong content creation portfolio showcasing videos, reels, carousels, and copy work across real brand mandates.
- Hands-on video production skills — you can plan a shoot, direct on-camera talent, and deliver a polished reel.
- Hands-on experience in attending events along with comprehensive coverage across social channels.
- Proficient in video editing tools: CapCut, InVideo, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar — fast turnarounds are non-negotiable.
- Genuine, day-to-day use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Canva, Gamma, Midjourney, CapCut AI, ElevenLabs, or equivalent).
- Good aesthetic sensibility: strong eye for framing, colour, typography, and what makes content scroll-stopping.
- Comfortable managing multiple brand voices simultaneously without losing tone, detail, or deadlines.

- Knowledge of SEO basics as applied to YouTube and LinkedIn content.
