Social Media Executive

About the Role
PayRupy is looking for a creative, energetic and execution-focused Social Media Intern who wants to build a career in Social Media, Content & Brand Building.
You will work closely with the founders and marketing team to create daily content for PayRupy, its founders, products, events and industry initiatives.
This is a 3–6 month paid internship with an opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance.
What You’ll Do
- Shoot and edit Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos and brand films.
- Handle cameras and equipment for professional-quality shoots.
- Plan video concepts, scripts, shots and storyboards.
- Create founder-led and personal-brand content.
- Shoot interviews, events, office content and behind-the-scenes videos.
- Create product explainers and educational FinTech content.
- Produce motion graphics, animated typography, transitions and visual effects.
- Repurpose long-form videos into engaging short-form content.
- Stay updated with video trends and social media formats.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong camera handling and videography skills.
- Understanding of framing, composition, lighting, camera angles and shot planning.
- Ability to independently manage basic video shoots.
- Hands-on experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent.
- Strong motion graphics and animation skills.
- Understanding of audio recording, sound design and basic colour correction.
- Ability to create visually engaging content for social platforms.
- Portfolio / Showreel is highly preferred.
