Creative Kult, the creative and marketing vertical of Liberty Infospace Pvt. Ltd., is looking for a Social Media & Copy Writer Executive who can turn “post this today” into “this actually looks like a brand has a personality.”
We need someone who understands social media, writes copy that does not sound like it was written in a hurry at 11:58 PM, and knows the difference between a caption, a campaign thought, a hook, and a random motivational quote with a gradient background.
What You’ll Be DoingYou will be working across brands, campaigns, social media pages, podcasts, product-led content, and creative communication.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Writing captions, post copies, reel scripts, carousel content, campaign ideas, and social media hooks.
- Planning and assisting with monthly social media content calendars.
- Creating platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Coordinating with designers to bring creative ideas to life.
- Writing thumbnail text, short-form video hooks, and campaign copy.
- Tracking trends and turning them into relevant brand content.
- Supporting podcast, launch, topical, and brand campaign communication.
- Proofreading content before it goes live because “your” and “you’re” are not the same thing.
- Maintaining brand tone across multiple projects.
- Thinking beyond “Let’s make it viral” and actually understanding what makes content work.
What We’re Looking ForThe ideal candidate should have:
- Strong writing skills in English.
- A good understanding of social media platforms and content formats.
- Basic knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube content behaviour.
- Ability to write clean, engaging, and scroll-stopping copy.
- Interest in branding, campaigns, pop culture, trends, and digital content.
- A sense of humour that does not depend entirely on memes.
- Good coordination skills with design, marketing, and content teams.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines without disappearing into the “I was just checking” zone.
Bonus Points If You- Can write both witty and professional copy depending on the brand.
- Understand how hooks work for reels and thumbnails.
- Have experience with agency-side social media content.
- Know how to structure carousels and campaign-led content.
- Can adapt writing for different audiences without making every brand sound the same.
