You will work closely with leadership, editors, designers, and creators to build Edit Lobby’s brand, personal brands, and content ecosystem.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can think strategically, write creatively, and execute quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, audience growth, and inbound leads.
- Own the content strategy and content calendar across Edit Lobby’s social media platforms.
- Research trends, formats, creators, and content opportunities relevant to the media, creative, and business space.
- Generate creative and unconventional content ideas for reels, short-form videos, carousels, posts, campaigns, and other formats.
- Write strong scripts, hooks, captions, CTAs, and creative briefs for social media content.
- Understand audience psychology and create content designed for retention, engagement, and shareability.
- Work closely with editors, motion designers, and creators to turn concepts into high-quality social media content.
- Creative-direct social media content and provide clear direction on storytelling, visuals, editing style, hooks, pacing, and overall execution.
- Manage and maintain the social media content calendar, ensuring consistent publishing.
- Develop content strategies for Edit Lobby’s brand as well as personal branding initiatives for leadership and key team members.
- Identify opportunities to build thought leadership and authority through personal branding and founder-led content.
- Monitor social media performance and analyze metrics such as reach, engagement, retention, follower growth, and leads.
- Continuously test new content formats, hooks, ideas, and distribution strategies based on performance data.
- Stay updated with social media trends, platform changes, viral formats, and emerging content styles.
- Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and leadership teams on campaigns, launches, partnerships, and brand initiatives.
- Identify potential collaborations with creators, brands, communities, and industry personalities.
- Support marketing campaigns and initiatives that generate awareness and qualified leads.
- Maintain a strong and consistent brand voice across all content and communication.
- Take ownership of content execution from idea → script → production → publishing → performance analysis.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, content marketing, personal branding, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant social media platforms.
- Strong knowledge of short-form content, reels, hooks, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Excellent content ideation, scripting, copywriting, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand trends and adapt them creatively to a brand.
- Strong creative judgment with an understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
- Experience working with editors, designers, creators, or creative production teams.
- Understanding of personal branding and founder-led content is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple content initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly creative environment.
- Strong ownership mindset — someone who can take an idea and drive it through to execution without constant supervision.
- Data-driven approach to content, with the ability to learn from performance and continuously improve.
