About the role
We are looking for a Social & Content Manager to own the voice of Wok Tok across digital platforms. This is a hands-on creation role, not just planning or oversight position. The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in internet culture, has a strong intuition for platform behaviour, and is equally comfortable ideating and executing content independently.
This person will be responsible for developing compelling content, building online communities, and driving engagement through authentic, platform-native storytelling across formats and channels.
Key responsibilities
Content creation & management
- Create and publish engaging content across formats, static, video, reels, and long-form
- Maintain brand tonality and consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Plan and manage monthly content calendars with day-to-day execution
- Monitor platform trends, viral formats, and consumer conversations to keep content timely and relevant
Social media & community
- Manage the brand's presence across Instagram, YouTube, and other key platforms
- Lead day-to-day posting, engagement, and community management
- Drive social-led campaigns, influencer partnerships, and creator collaborations
- Amplify campaigns through paid media in partnership with the performance marketing team
Analytics & cross-functional work
- Track and report on performance metrics — reach, engagement, sentiment, and conversions
- Derive insights to optimise content and improve ROI
- Collaborate with Brand, PR, E-commerce, and Digital Media teams to integrate content into broader marketing initiatives
- Stay current on emerging tools, formats, and platform updates
Qualifications & skills
- 2–3 years of experience in content creation or social media
- Demonstrated ability to create content that drives strong engagement on brand accounts
- Deep understanding of consumer culture, digital platforms, and platform-native storytelling
- Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and at speed across multiple projects
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and influencer platforms
