Role Description The Social Media Content Creator (Tamil) will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging Tamil-language content across the hospital’s social media platforms. This full-time, on-site role based in Palghat involves developing posts, short videos, stories, and reels that highlight services, patient awareness campaigns, and educational eye health content. The role includes collaborating with doctors and the marketing team to translate medical information into clear, audience-friendly Tamil content. The Social Media Content Creator will monitor trends, respond to audience interactions and messages, and help grow and maintain a positive online presence for the hospital. The position also involves tracking basic performance metrics, suggesting ideas for campaigns, and ensuring all content aligns with the hospital’s brand, values, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Tamil content creation, including writing, scripting, and captioning for social media; ability to communicate clearly in English is an advantage.
- Experience managing social media platforms (such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp) and familiarity with current social media trends and formats.
- Basic skills in photo and video creation or editing (mobile or desktop tools), including reels, short videos, and simple graphics.
- Ability to convert medical or technical information into clear, accurate, and audience-friendly content in Tamil.
- Strong attention to detail, consistency in tone and style, and ability to follow brand guidelines and healthcare communication standards.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with doctors, staff, and the marketing team for content inputs.
- Prior experience in healthcare, hospitals, or patient education content is a plus but not mandatory.
- Preferred qualification: Diploma or degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Marketing, Literature, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
