Role Overview
We’re looking for a confident, camera-friendly Content Creator who can conceptualise, shoot, and edit short-form content end-to-end. This role is perfect for someone who deeply understands Instagram and short-form platforms, enjoys being on-ground and interacting with people, and can turn everyday moments into high-performing Reels and Shorts.
You’ll be both behind and in front of the camera, owning most of the production while also thinking strategically about why content works (or doesn’t).
What You’ll Do
Content Strategy & Ideation
- Conceptualise, script, and plan high-energy short-form content aligned with brand goals
- Track trends, formats, hooks, and audios—and adapt them meaningfully to the brand voice
- Translate briefs into engaging, people-first visual stories
- Think platform-first: awareness, engagement, and performance
- Brainstorm, research, and pitch fresh content ideas aligned with business and client objectives
Shooting & On-Ground Execution
- Independently shoot Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form content
- Conduct vox-pop style interviews and public interactions
- Be comfortable shooting anywhere: offices, streets, events, homes, or outdoor locations
- Handle basic production needs:
- Framing
- Lighting
- Composition
- Visual quality
- Shoot videos using iPhone or camera (must own or have access)
Editing & Post-Production
- Optimize:
- Hooks
- Pacing
- Transitions
- Captions
- Sound design
- Understand platform algorithms and performance metrics
- Analyse why content performs well or underperforms and iterate quickly
Content Creation & Management
- Create engaging Reels, Shorts, Posts, and Stories
- Write compelling captions, hooks, and basic scripts
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely posting
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Analyze content performance and suggest improvements
Collaboration & Ownership
- Work closely with marketing, strategy, design, and client teams
- Maintain brand consistency while delivering fast turnarounds
- Coordinate with external editors or production partners when required
- Take full ownership of content quality, timelines, and outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Camera-ready with a confident on-screen presence (must)
- Proven experience as a Content Creator or similar role
- Strong understanding of:
- Instagram
- YouTube Shorts
- LinkedIn and short-form platforms
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and copywriting skills
- Creative, self-driven, and consistent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Analytical mindset with experience using social insights
- Knowledge of digital marketing & content marketing
- Comfortable working independently
Preferred (Nice to Have)
· Prior experience working with a brand or digital marketing agency
· Experience creating content for electronics or consumer tech products
· Edit short-form videos end-to-end using: Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / Final Cut Pro / Cap cut (or equivalent tools)
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Film Production, or a related field
Must-Have
- Own or have access to an iPhone or camera for shooting
- Ability to shoot quality videos for social media
