Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Content Creator based in Bengaluru. The Social Media Content Creator will plan, create, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Responsibilities include developing content calendars, drafting copy, sourcing or creating visuals (images, short videos, reels), and ensuring content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role involves monitoring trends, tracking performance metrics, and adjusting content based on engagement and audience insights. The Social Media Content Creator will collaborate with marketing, design, and other teams to support campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling, while responding to audience interactions in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to plan and create social media content, including short-form video, static posts, stories, and basic graphics.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and familiarity with tools for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple posts and campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience with design or video-editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation is preferred but not strictly required if a strong portfolio is presented.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
