Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Social Media Content Creator at TalesByDora. The Social Media Content Creator will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube. Daily tasks include developing content calendars, writing captions, scripting and shooting short-form videos, selecting and editing images or clips, and aligning all posts with the brand voice and travel-focused storytelling. The role involves monitoring trends, engaging with the online community through comments and messages, and collaborating with the marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and partnerships. The Social Media Content Creator will also track performance metrics, report on results, and continuously optimize content based on data, audience insights, and platform best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong social media content creation skills, including short-form video production, photography selection, and visually compelling post design.
- Excellent writing skills for social captions, storytelling, and brand-consistent messaging, with attention to grammar and clarity.
- Experience with social media strategy, content planning, and basic analytics to inform data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with social media tools and platforms (e.g., scheduling tools, basic design or editing software such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
- Ability to research travel destinations, trends, and audience interests and translate them into engaging, accurate content.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage content calendars and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Comfort engaging with online communities, responding to comments and messages, and supporting collaborations with partners or creators.
- Previous experience in social media, digital marketing, travel content, or related fields is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Genuine interest in travel and cultural exploration, with a willingness to stay current on social media and travel industry trends.
