Role Description
We are looking for a Brand & Content Lead who will be the creative brain behind Les Bases digital presence. This role is not about simply managing social media pages. It is about building a community backed brand that people want to follow, share, and talk about.
You will be responsible for developing the brand’s content strategy, shaping its voice and aesthetic, and creating scroll-stopping content that drives organic growth. You will work closely with the founder to translate brand vision into compelling storytelling across platforms. This role requires someone who understands internet culture, fragrance storytelling, and viral content mechanics.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Storytelling & Voice
- Develop and maintain the brand voice of Les Bases across all digital platforms
- Translate product benefits and innovation into compelling stories that resonate with audiences
- Shape the brand narrative across pre-launch, launch, and growth phases
Content Strategy and Direction
- Own the organic social media strategy across Instagram and emerging platforms
- Plan and execute a content calendar designed for high engagement and shareability
- Develop diverse content formats including educational fragrance content, trend-led reels, product
storytelling, founder-driven content, community conversations
- Conceptualize and direct creative shoots for social media content
- Define visual language and aesthetic for the brand’s digital presence
- Brief designers, photographers, and creators to ensure consistency with the brand identity
Creator & Community Collaboration
- Identify and collaborate with emerging creators for organic partnerships
- Manage product seeding to micro-creators and beauty enthusiasts
- Build authentic relationships with the brand’s early community
Cultural & Trend Intelligence
- Continuously track social media trends, emerging creators, and viral content formats
- Adapt trends in a way that aligns with the Les Bases brand identity
- Bring fresh ideas for content formats, campaigns, and brand storytelling
Collaboration with Performance & Influencer Agencies
- Provide creative direction for influencer campaigns executed by external agencies
- Develop creator briefs and storytelling angles for influencer content
- Work with marketing partners to ensure campaigns remain aligned with brand voice
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in beauty, fragrance, lifestyle, or D2C brands
- Demonstrated experience managing and growing brand social media accounts
- Strong understanding of content formats that perform on Instagram Reels and short-form video
platforms
- Deep understanding of internet culture and digital storytelling
- Ability to turn everyday moments into engaging content
- Strong aesthetic sense and visual storytelling skills
- Curious, experimental, and proactive
- Comfortable moving fast in a startup environment
- Passionate about beauty, fragrance, and self-expression
