We're a premium D2C pet brand that launched in May 2026 — and we're looking for someone to own our content, not just execute it.
This is a full-time, hybrid role for someone who thinks in content, moves with intention, and wants to be part of building something that actually means something to the people who buy it.
About Chonky Paws
Chonky Paws makes premium enrichment products for pets whose humans take the relationship seriously. We're editorial in aesthetic, intentional in voice, and built on a single true idea — that some connections between a pet and their human aren't chosen. They're fated.
We launched with three hero products and we're growing. The brand is considered, the community is real, and the content needs to match both.
What you'll own:
- Social post design — static, carousels, and stories in Canva or Figma. Clean, on-brand, visually considered every single time
- Content ideation — bringing fresh ideas to the table weekly, not waiting to be briefed. Trends, formats, concepts — you see them and you bring them
- Calendar planning — owning the monthly content calendar end to end, from concept to scheduling to publish
- AI image generation — creating product and lifestyle visuals using Midjourney or similar tools. This is a core part of the role, not an afterthought. Prompt with intention, not just luck
- Creative collaboration — working directly with the founder on campaign concepts, brand storytelling, and content direction
You're who we're looking for if:
- You have 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation or a closely related role
- You have a genuine feel for what works on Instagram: not just what's trending, but why it lands
- Canva or Figma is second nature — you can move fast and still make it look considered
- You've used AI image generation tools seriously and have a feel for prompting well
- You're a self-starter who plans ahead, not just reacts
- You love animals — even if life hasn't allowed for one yet

- A role where you wait for briefs and execute them
- A role where you manage accounts without understanding the brand behind them
