Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Content Creator role based in Mumbai. The Social Media Content Creator will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social media platforms to showcase BookEinstein’s programs, library services, and student achievements. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing content calendars, writing and editing posts, creating short-form videos and visual assets, and coordinating with teaching and library teams to highlight key initiatives. The role also involves monitoring social media performance, responding to audience interactions, and suggesting ideas to increase reach and engagement. The Social Media Content Creator will collaborate with marketing and leadership to ensure brand consistency and support campaign objectives.
Qualifications
- Content creation skills, including social media copywriting, basic graphic design, and short-form video creation for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Experience in planning and managing social media calendars, campaigns, and community engagement for education, edtech, or youth-focused brands.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages commonly used in Mumbai is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics, interpret performance data, and adjust content strategies based on insights.
- Comfort working on-site with children, educators, and cross-functional teams; organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with basic photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, mobile editing apps) and current social media trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Marketing, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in social media or content roles within startups or education organizations is beneficial.
