We are looking for a Manager, Digital Content & Cultural Marketing who can lead our social media strategy, content planning, campaign execution, digital growth and event-led marketing.
Role Overview
The role requires someone who understands culture, premium hospitality, fashion, art, entertainment and experience-led brands. You should be able to translate IBTIDA’s events, artists and philosophy into relevant, engaging and commercially effective digital campaigns.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy and Planning
- Develop monthly, quarterly and event-specific social media strategies.
- Plan campaigns across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Build campaign phases covering teasers, reveals, ticket launches, early-bird communication, event-day coverage and post-event storytelling.
- Create structured content calendars with timelines, formats, ownership and approval requirements.
- Align social media activity with ticketing, partnerships, sponsorships and overall business goals.
- Identify audience, platform, cultural and lifestyle trends relevant to IBTIDA.
Content Direction and Storytelling
- Develop campaign ideas, content themes, narratives, hooks and storytelling formats.
- Translate the Founder’s vision into clear campaign and content plans.
- Direct reels, stories, carousels, artist-led videos, event films, interviews and brand communication.
- Create briefs for designers, photographers, videographers, editors and creators.
- Plan visual references, scripts, shot lists, mood boards and content deliverables.
- Ensure all communication reflects IBTIDA’s cultural, premium and emotionally driven identity.
- Maintain consistency across tone, messaging, aesthetics and brand positioning.
Content Creation and Publishing
- Manage daily content creation, scheduling and publishing across social platforms.
- Write captions, story copy, campaign messaging, calls-to-action and promotional communication.
- Create basic social media assets and presentations using Canva and similar tools.
- Use AI and marketing tools such as Claude, Higgsfield and other relevant platforms for ideation and content execution.
- Maintain accurate event information, ticket links, dates, artist details and partner mentions.
- Manage collaboration posts with artists, venues, sponsors and creative partners.
- Maintain an organised archive of photographs, videos, edits and campaign assets.
Content Production and Video Coordination
- Work closely with production crews, photographers, videographers, editors and event production teams.
- Plan campaign shoots, artist videos, promotional films, interviews and event content.
- Prepare production schedules, shot lists, content requirements and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate access, locations, artists, styling, equipment and approvals for shoots.
- Review raw footage, edits, films, reels and campaign assets before release.
- Ensure feedback, corrections and final deliveries are completed on time.
- Ensure enough content is captured before, during and after every event for immediate and future use.
Campaign and Media Planning
- Develop media plans for launches, ticketing campaigns, brand communication and event promotions.
- Define campaign objectives, target audiences, platform priorities and communication phases.
- Coordinate organic, paid, partner-led and creator-led media activity.
- Work with performance marketing agencies to develop paid campaigns across Meta, Google and other relevant platforms.
- Plan media budgets based on reach, engagement, lead generation, ticketing and conversion objectives.
- Ensure campaign spends remain aligned with ticketing and commercial goals.
- Review campaign performance and recommend changes in targeting, messaging, creatives and budget allocation.
Budget Planning and Management
- Prepare campaign, content production and social media budgets.
- Estimate costs for photography, videography, editing, design, creators, agencies, shoots and media spends.
- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and production partners.
- Negotiate costs, deliverables and timelines.
- Track approved budgets against actual spends.
- Maintain campaign-wise cost sheets and expense records.
- Coordinate advances, invoices and vendor payments with the finance team.
- Identify ways to optimise costs without compromising creative quality.
Community Management and ORM
- Monitor comments, direct messages, tags, reviews and audience conversations.
- Respond to queries in a timely and brand-aligned manner.
- Manage online reputation and escalate sensitive matters when required.
- Coordinate with CRM, ticketing and production teams for customer resolutions.
- Engage with patrons, artists, creators and cultural communities.
- Maintain an appropriate response time and communication standard across platforms.
Social Media Growth and Performance
- Take ownership of measurable growth in followers, reach, engagement, saves, shares and profile visits.
- Build organic growth strategies across platforms.
- Focus on attracting a relevant and engaged audience rather than vanity numbers.
- Analyse content and campaign performance weekly and monthly.
- Identify successful formats and recommend improvements based on data.
- Improve conversion from content to enquiries, registrations and ticket sales.
- Track organic and paid performance through structured reports.
- Measure cost per lead, cost per conversion, website traffic and ticketing outcomes wherever applicable.
Event and On-Site Social Media Marketing
- Lead real-time social media coverage during IBTIDA events and experiences.
- Work with the production team to plan key moments, access requirements and capture schedules.
- Coordinate photographers, videographers, editors and creators on-site.
- Plan and manage stories, guest moments, artist performances, backstage content and behind-the-scenes coverage.
- Coordinate same-day edits, quick approvals and live publishing.
- Ensure content capture does not disturb the artist, audience or guest experience.
- Build a structured post-event plan using event films, guest reactions and artist moments.
Vendor, Partner and Website Coordination
- Work with designers, web developers, performance marketing agencies, photographers, editors, videographers and production partners.
- Create clear briefs, trackers, timelines and approval processes.
- Coordinate with artists, venues, ticketing platforms and sponsors for assets and digital deliverables.
- Ensure sponsor and partner commitments are completed as agreed.
- Review vendor output and maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate website updates, event pages, landing pages, banners and ticket links.
- Review the user journey from social media to ticket purchase or enquiry.
- Ensure tracking links, pixels and campaign measurement systems are implemented correctly.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with production, brand, ticketing, CRM, partnerships and finance teams.
- Participate in campaign and event planning meetings.
- Share weekly work plans, content calendars, media plans and performance reports.
- Maintain clear timelines, task ownership and closure dates.
- Manage multiple campaigns and event timelines simultaneously.
- Take complete ownership of assigned campaigns from planning to final reporting.
Required Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing or brand communication.
- Prior experience in hospitality, fashion, luxury, culture, art, entertainment or lifestyle brands.
- Experience managing events, concerts, launches, cultural programmes or experiential campaigns is essential.
- Proven experience managing social media accounts, content calendars and digital campaigns.

You should have a strong visual sensibility, understand premium audiences and be genuinely interested in culture, music, heritage, design and experiences.
Candidates without relevant experience in hospitality, fashion, culture, art, entertainment, lifestyle or experiential marketing may not be suitable for this position.
