Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Intern role based in Delhi, India. The intern will support the creation and scheduling of social media content across platforms, focusing on financial education topics related to QuickBooks and U.S. taxation. Daily tasks include assisting with content planning, drafting posts and captions, conducting basic research to ensure accurate and engaging information, and monitoring audience engagement and feedback. The intern will help analyze performance metrics, suggest improvements to campaigns, and coordinate with the marketing team to maintain a consistent brand voice. The role may also involve experimenting with new media formats (short videos, carousels, infographics) and staying informed about platform trends relevant to TFS’s target audience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Marketing and Media Planning to support campaign execution and content calendars.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to craft clear, engaging, and accessible social media messaging.
- Candidates should possess skills in New Media to work effectively with social platforms, short-form video, and emerging content formats.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to gather accurate information on finance, tools, and tax topics for social content.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X) and basic analytics tools is beneficial.
- Interest in finance, business operations, or taxation and willingness to learn complex topics is highly valued.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, manage multiple tasks, and meet content deadlines is required.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred.
