Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a SOC Manager. The SOC Manager will lead the Security Operations Center, overseeing daily monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities. Responsibilities also include managing and mentoring the SOC team, developing and implementing security policies and operations strategies, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards. The SOC Manager will collaborate with other teams to strengthen security posture and handle escalations efficiently.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in threat detection, incident response, and SOC operations management
- Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and risk management
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and threat intelligence platforms
- Effective team management, leadership, and mentorship skills
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Experience with network protocols, cloud security principles, and forensic investigation tools
