Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a SOC L3 Engineer located in Kerala, India. The SOC L3 Engineer will be responsible for managing advanced security incidents, providing escalation support, conducting forensic investigations, and implementing advanced threat detection mechanisms. Additional responsibilities include ensuring the efficiency of security tools, developing incident response plans, and mentoring junior team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain organizational cyber resilience.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of security incident analysis, advanced threat detection, and response strategies
- Expertise in SOC tools and technologies, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management systems
- Proficiency in forensic investigation, malware analysis, and countermeasure implementation
- Experience with network protocols, monitoring, and security architecture best practices
- Advanced understanding of incident response frameworks, log analysis, and root cause analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are a plus)
- Familiarity with compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry frameworks
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
