Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a SOC L1/L2 Analyst based in Hyderabad operating around the clock 24x7. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents. Key responsibilities include performing proactive cyber threat hunting, analyzing cyber threat intelligence, investigating security incidents, and escalating them when required. The SOC Analyst will also work collaboratively with a team to develop and optimize security protocols and maintain a secure IT environment.
Qualifications
- Experience with Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) techniques and tools
- Strong knowledge of Security Operations Center functions and cybersecurity principles
- Proficient analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate complex security data to identify threats and vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with incident detection, response, and resolution processes
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior experience in a Security Operations environment is a plus
- Ability to adapt and respond effectively in a dynamic and high-paced environment
