Role Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity operations team. This role is ideal for freshers as well as candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about cybersecurity, threat monitoring, and incident response.
You will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, identifying potential threats, and supporting the security operations team in maintaining a secure IT environment.
This is a remote, full-time role for a Security Operations Center Analyst at MilaannG Global Services. Responsibilities include monitoring cybersecurity threats, conducting cyber threat hunting and intelligence activities, analyzing security incidents, and managing responses to potential risks. The Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure digital assets and safeguard critical business systems. The role involves utilizing advanced analytical skills to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities proactively.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM and security monitoring tools
- Investigate suspicious activities and escalate incidents when required
- Perform initial analysis of security incidents and document findings
- Support endpoint, network, and email security monitoring activities
- Maintain incident logs, reports, and operational documentation
- Assist in vulnerability management and basic security assessments
- Follow incident response and escalation procedures
- Coordinate with internal teams during security investigations
- Participate in weekend coverage on a need basis
Eligibility Criteria
- Freshers and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and networking
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, firewalls, antivirus, or SIEM tools is an advantage
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts aligned with UK and Philippines time zones
Mandatory Requirements
- Must have your own laptop
- Stable and reliable internet connection is mandatory
- Quiet work environment suitable for remote operations
Working hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6-hour shift schedules available
- Shift timings aligned with:
- Philippines Time Zone
- UK Time Zone
- Weekend coverage may be required based on business needs
- Additional compensation will be provided for weekend support
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of:
- SIEM tools
- Cybersecurity fundamentals
- Networking concepts
- Incident management
- Endpoint security
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus but not mandatory

Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) processes and methodologies.
- Strong background in managing and working within a Security Operations Center environment.
- Proven understanding and experience in Cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and tools.
- Exceptional Analytical Skills to evaluate, triage, and respond effectively to security threats and incidents.
- Familiarity with security monitoring tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience preferred.
