Software Engineer, Front-end

As a Front-end Engineer at Snyk, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining the user interface for our security products. You'll work closely with the product team to translate their vision into a delightful user experience, and with the back-end team to ensure a seamless integration of your work. You'll also help set architectural direction and best practices for the front-end team. What you'll do: - Design and build new features and functionality for our security products, collaborating closely with product managers and designers - Improve existing features by refactoring, debugging, and enhancing the codebase - Advocate for best practices in front-end development, including testing, accessibility, and performance - Mentor and support junior engineers on the team - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software What you'll bring: - 3+ years of professional experience building complex, responsive web applications - Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern front-end tooling - Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, HTTP, etc.) - Experience with testing frameworks and best practices - Passion for creating delightful user experiences - Desire to stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
