TJob Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Snowflake Python Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Python, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data warehouses, and enabling analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake
- Build and optimize ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation
- Work with Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, and Stored Procedures
- Optimize SQL queries and improve warehouse performance and cost efficiency
- Develop and manage data models for analytics and reporting
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitLab
- Manage role-based access control and security in Snowflake
- Integrate Snowflake with external systems like Azure AD (SSO) and AWS services
- Enable self-service analytics by supporting BI tools
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake usage (auto-suspend, warehouse sizing, cost tracking)
- Schedule and manage workflows using Apache Airflow (DAGs)
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Snowflake
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Apache Airflow (DAG execution)
- Strong SQL and performance tuning skills
- Experience with Snowflake Stored Procedures
Good To Have
- Experience with AWS data services
- Knowledge of data governance and cost optimization strategies
- Exposure to BI tools and analytics platforms
Desired Experience
- 5–7+ years in Data Engineering
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake
