Job Title: Snowflake Developer

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer to design and build scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, modern data engineering practices, and exposure to AI-driven data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end Snowflake data platform architecture (ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption)
- Design and implement data lakehouse architectures using Streams, Tasks, Materialized Views, and External Tables
- Establish best practices for data governance and security (RBAC, Secure Views, Row-Level Security)
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Python
- Integrate Snowflake with orchestration tools like Airflow and enterprise systems (data catalogs, BI tools, monitoring frameworks)
- Work on AI integrations, including Snowflake Cortex and LLM-powered analytics
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI
- Monitor and optimize performance using Query Profile, Clustering Keys, and Resource Monitors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability and accessibility
- Conduct code reviews, architectural discussions, and mentor team members
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience in ETL/ELT development using DBT and Python
- Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Snowflake Cortex / AI-driven analytics
- Experience with CI/CD for data platforms
- Familiarity with enterprise data ecosystem tools
- Strong analytical and communication skills
