Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Snowflake Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with Snowflake's cloud data platform, a strong understanding of data architecture, and expertise in designing scalable and efficient data solutions. This role will be instrumental in building and optimizing our data infrastructure, enabling us to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities
•Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes in Snowflake.
•Create and maintain Snowflake data models, schemas, and tables to support analytics and reporting needs.
•Implement and manage data security, user roles, and permissions within Snowflake.
•Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting.
•Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake performance, including managing clustering, partitioning, and resource allocation.
•Stay current with Snowflake's latest features and best practices and continuously improve the data platform.
Job Specification
•Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance optimization, and data sharing.
•Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex and efficient queries.
•Proficient in Data warehousing and ETL/ELT.
•Experience with cloud data environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
•Experience with data security and governance in a cloud environment.
Preferred Skills
oExperience with data integration tools such as ADF, IICS, etc...
oKnowledge of programming languages such as Python, PySpark, etc...
oExperience with other cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse Analytics).
oFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies.
Certifications in Snowflake or related technologies.
